The following will explain how to register your time. Please read this section if you're a first-time player.

View rankings from the "Rankings" page. There are three major types of rankings. General Ranking : For drivers whose goal is to become a legend of the street. Ranking by Car Model : For drivers who want to be a specialist for each car type. Ranking by  Region : For drivers who want to be number one in their region. Aim for the top in each ranking! Select a course and a condition, then click "Browse". You can view the selected ranking board. Dates for times registered today are displayed in red.

Using your "Initial D License", you can register your Time Attack Mode Record in the Initial D 4 NET-Rankings. You cannot register your time if you do not have an "Initial D License".   You are required to have a run time in order to register your time. Using your "Initial D license", play Time Attack mode and measure your finish time.   Upon finishing a run in Time Attack mode, an entry code used for NET-Ranking is displayed on the screen. *[Post-Result Entry Code Screen] The entry code is recorded onto your "Initial D License", and can be reconfirmed. When using your "Initial D License" to play, you can view the entry codes of completed Time Attack courses on the View Card Data screen, immediately after inserting your card. *You can switch screens with the View Change button.   To register your time, you must first register as a driver. Register from "Driver Registration". E-mail Address Enter your email address. Free or forwarding email addresses cannot be used. Password Password must contain at least 6 characters. Only alphanumeric characters and _ (underbars) may be used. Case sensitive. Please enter your email address and your password into the entry form below, then click OK. An email with a link to the driver registration page will be sent to your email address. Click the URL in the email to open the driver registration page. Enter the same information as your "Initial D License" on the entry form below and click the "Registration" button to complete driver registration. The "Initial D License" used for registration will be used for time registration as well. Please use the entry code issued for this license when you register your time. Driver Driver's name printed on the Initial D license. Key Key printed on the Initial D license. Entry Code Code displayed after playing Time Attack mode. (14 characters) Region Region that registers time. Cannot change after registration. The driver registration URL is valid for 24 hours. After 24 hours, you will have to reapply. Please read the following before registering a driver on our NET-Ranking service.   Entered content (email address, password, etc.) will only be used for the purpose of NET-Ranking, and will not be disclosed to any third parties or for any other reasons. You are responsible for your own password, KEY, and entry code. SEGA Co., Ltd. will not be held accountable for anything pertaining to your password, KEY, or entry code. Free or forwarding email addresses cannot be used for this NET-Ranking. Please use an email address provided by your ISP. Please note that if free or forwarding email addresses are used, your data may be deleted without prior notice. Entering incorrect email addresses is the main reason for not receiving the confirmation email. Please confirm that the entered content is correct before registering.   After driver registration, register your time on the NET-Ranking from "Time Registration". Please enter your email address and password used for driver registration into the entry form below, then click OK. After authentication, an entry code input screen for time registration will be displayed. To complete time registration, enter the entry code into the entry form, then click OK. Entry Code Code displayed after playing Time Attack mode. (14 characters)   One entry per player for each course. Uphill, downhill, clear and rain are treated as separate courses.

You can view the list of registered records at "Drivers". To view your records, please enter your email address and password used for driver registration into the entry form below, then click OK. After authentication, "Drivers" page will be displayed. Click the General, Car Model, or Region Ranking section to jump to the respective ranking page.

If you have forgot your password, it may be sent to you via email if you are a registered driver. Click "Forgot your password?" on either the "Drivers" or "Time Registration" page to display the password re-forwarding page.   Enter you email address into the entry form, then click OK. An email containing your password will be sent to you.

You can change your password. Click "Change Your Password" on the "Time Registration" page to display the password changing page. Enter your current password and new a password into the entry form, then click OK to complete the change.
